Bolton says US mulls no new sanctions against Russia now
MOSCOW, Oct 24 (PRIME) -- Washington is not considering additional sanctions against Russia now, U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton said on Wednesday.
Bolton said that the U.S. usually considers additional sanctions each six months. Washington introduced the latest round of anti-Russian sanctions four months ago, and it is now considering no new sanctions.
Following the statement, the Russian ruble grew 25 kopecks to 65.27 rubles per U.S. dollar and 79 kopecks to 74.32 per euro as of 15.09 p.m. Moscow time, according to the Moscow Exchange.
